     第1章世界城市理论综述。系统而全面地阐述了国内外有关世界城市的基本理论,并对代表性学者的观点加以述评,进一步明确了世界城市的内涵与本质特征。
     第2章世界城市网络化发展的基本态势。从经济网络的概念入手,分析了世界城市网络的基本含义及当代世界城市网络化发展的基本格局,提出了世界城市网络形成的一般模式,即:世界城市网络是一个包含结点、流线和区域的复杂的网络系统,是一个可观察和量化分析的空间体系;职能分工及其组合与变动是标定和量测世界城市网络化模式的主要指标;高层次生产性服务公司的全球化服务网络是标定和量测世界城市网络的直接依据。
     第3章现代世界城市网络化的三维透视。主要从动力机制角度分析了现代世界城市网络形成的理论基础,主要理论包括:新的国际劳动空间分工、国际化区域与世界城市、控制型资源与世界城市、经济全球化与世界体系以及城市空间相互作用等理论。
     第4章现代世界城市网络形成于流动空间。基于对流动空间形成过程的分析,论述了高层次服务业集聚、服务型信息流动与世界城市网络化的联动机制;

    首次将信息场理论引入流动空间和世界城市网络研究,通过对信息流动的场态分
    析,科学地阐释了流动空间相互作用的一般规律,据此提出了世界城市服务价值
    和全球网络联结度等城市网络评测模型。在此基础上,本文初步总结了全球化背
    景下世界城市网络化呈现出多层多极的流动空间模式。
     第5章世界城市网络化的公司层面分析。主要从公司层面实测了全球服务公
    司网络化与世界城市网络化的互动关系。根据全球服务公司办公机构分布的数据
    库资料,绘制了全球服务公司分布频数图,以此验证高级服务业空间集聚与世界
    城市网络化的关系。基于数据库相关资料,进一步统计分析主要世界城市之间的
    公司联结,利用Arcview生成样本城市全球网络联结度分布格局图和基于网络联
    结度的位序一规模分布的对数坐标图,进一步的回归分析结果显示,基于世界城
    市网络联结度的位序一规模律符合指数方程模型。
     第6章一世界城市网络化的区域层面分析。主要分析世界城市网络形成与区域
    腹地之间的关系。首先,通过对样本城市服务价值的判定,初步构建了山三个层
    次53个世界城市和67个一世界城市后备阵容组成的世界城市网络系统。4个中111
    城市—香港、台北、北京、上海列入世界城市,广州列入一世界城市后备队伍。
    其次,通过比较一国世界城市服务价值相对其经济规模而产生的服务价值“盈余”
    或“赤字”,揭示出高级服务业跨国过程与世界城市网络化发展的内生机制;第
    三,从公司腹地角度进一步论述了世界城市网络化过程中形成的三个泛区域中心
    及各自腹地结构,初步验证现代世界城市与国际化区域的空间相互作用。最后,
    把跨国精英流纳入世界城市网络的研究范畴,以伦敦为精英人刁‘源,分析井总结
    出跨国公司精英人才区际流动存在着同位势城市流动倾向等基本规律,从一个侧
    面揭示了世界城市网络化的本质是控制型资源的流通。
     第7章世界城市网络联结的空间差异。主要从全球网络层面分析了世界城市
    网络化的空间模式。以世界城市的服务价值与全球网络联结度为基本标尺,对世
    界城市网络连接状况进行测定,根据网络联结差异,分析得出多种不同的网络连
    接模式,包括国际金融连接、支配一统帅型连接、通道型连接等,并用Mapinfo
    绘制了多幅联结模式图,清晰地展示了世界城市网络化的空间差异,证实了世界
    城市网络化多层多极的流动空间模式。最后,综合分析不同联结模式中城市的等
    级结构,界定了当代世界城市网络化进程中最具活力的30个城市。

     第8章基本结论与启示。作为结语,本章在总结世界城市网络化发展的基本
    规律的基础上,指出中国正面临着如何实现城市网络与世界接轨的重要抉择。基
    于中国城市网络现状、对外联系的网络格局和世界城市网络中中国接口城市(北
    京、上海、广州和香港)的连通性分析,提出了加速中国城市国际化的战略设想。

World cities are the central cities that have the power of control world economy and act on the distribution of global strategic resources. With the acceleration of economic globalization and information, world cities having a decisive impact on the future economic restructuring, so the research on world cities has gained ever more attention from both domestic and international academic circle. Based on the results of international and national research, this paper makes a thorough theoretical and demonstrated study on the networking model of contemporary world cities.
The dissertation can be divided into three parts. The first part is theoretical foundation research, which includes 2 chapters. The Second is theoretical framework, which includes 2 chapters too; the third is demonstration research, which consists of Chapter 5, 6, 7. There are eight chapters in this thesis, as following:
    1. Review of world city research home and overseas. The author gives an introduction to the basic theory of world city and comments some representative views in detail. Then the essential conception and characteristics of world city have been summarized.
    2. The basic situation of world city system networking development. Based on the general connotation of economic network, the author analyzes the essential conception and its model of world city network, discusses the basic pattern and evolving trends of world city networking development.
    3. The theoretical support: the heterogeneous perspective of contemporary world cities networking development. The author retrospect the theories about the dynamic mechanism of world city network, which is summarized as following: (l)new international labor division theory;(2) international region and world city; (S)control I ing-typed resources and world city development;(4)world system theory; (5)spatial interaction theory and so on.
    4. The theoretical framework: contemporary wor Id city format ion in the space of flows. Based on these theories of the flow space and above analyses, the author discusses the mutual stimulating relationship among the advanced product i on serv i ce, Serv i ce-typed i nformat i on f I ow and wor I d city network. Through analyzing the field situation of information flow, the author also interprets the common laws about the interaction in the space of flows and put forward the models to calculate service value and

global connectivity that can be use to give the world city network and its power a quantitative evaluation. At last, the primary model of world city networking development has been established, which is a multiplayer and multipole mode.
5.The corporation level analysis of world city network: the interaction relationship between global service corporation network and world city network. By means of internet investigation to corporations, the author firstly establishes a global database which indicates the branches distribution of 45 global service corporations in 120 cities, then makes use of the frequency diagrams of the corporation branches distribution to verify the relationship between the advanced production service concentration and worldd city networking development. Thi rdly, the author calculates and analyzes the global connectivity of 120 cities to 46 advanced service corporations. Finally, the global linkage model of world city network has been primarily described.
    6. The regional background analysis of world city networking development. Firstly, the hierarchy of 120 cities in world city system network has been judged according to every cities total service value. Secondly, by comparing one country' s service value "surplus" and
"deficit" to the total economy scale (GDP), the author reveals further the essential relationship between the multinational process of the advanced production service and world city formation. Third, as a view of reg i ona I organ i zat i on the author d i scusses three pan-reg i ona I centra I s that take shape in the world city networking development. Through proving the i nteract i on re I at i on
