金融发展对碳排放强度的影响研究——基于西部面板数据的联立方程模型分析

摘要
本文基于2006-2016年我国西部地区9个省(市、区)的面板数据,构建关于金融发展与碳排放强度的联立方程模型。结果显示,金融发展通过对经济增长和创新能力的促进作用间接影响二氧化碳排放强度,同时金融发展也直接与碳排放强度呈倒U型关系。金融发展初期,对经济增长的促进作用更大,导致二氧化碳排放强度不断增加;随着金融发展水平的不断提高,对创新能力的促进作用更大,从而降低了二氧化碳排放强度。因此,政府应采取适当措施充分发挥金融发展在低碳经济中的积极作用。
        Based on the panel data of nine provinces in Western China from 2006 to 2016, this paper established a simultaneous equation model related to financial development and carbon dioxide intensity. The study results show that financial development indirectly affects the carbon dioxide intensity through promoting economic growth and innovation ability, and has an inverted U-shaped relationship with carbon dioxide intensity directly. In the early stage of financial development, the promotional effect on economic growth is bigger, leading to an increase in carbon dioxide intensity; with the improvement of financial development, the promotion of innovation ability is greater, thereby reducing the carbon dioxide intensity. Therefore, the government should take appropriate measures to give full play to the positive role of financial development in low-carbon economy.
