摘要
"东湖文化"指围绕着东湖自然景观而形成的建筑、园林、考古遗址、历史传说、民间故事,以及由它们所表达的价值观念、精神气质与审美趣味之总和。作为武汉城市文化的一个重要组成部分,东湖文化的形成与发展、形式与内涵都受到武汉文化的深刻影响,它传载着武汉城市发展的历史脉络与精神个性,表现了武汉城市文化鲜明的地域特色与精神气质。而作为一种旅游景区文化,它又具有自身独特的文化个性,呈现出相对独立的文化面貌,这种既联系又区别的关系是两者互为补充、协同发展的内在基础。东湖文化与武汉文化的双向互动为创造具有时代气息、地域特色与个性魅力的武汉城市文化体系,提供了无比广阔的前景。
        "Donghu Culture" refers to the architecture, gardens, archaeological sites, historical legends, folktales formed by the natural landscape around the Donghu Lake, as well as the values, spiritual temperament and aesthetic taste expressed thereof. As an important part of Wuhan urban culture, the formation, development, pattern and connotation of Donghu culture are deeply influenced by Wuhan culture. It carries the historical context and spiritual features of the urban development of Wuhan, and shows the distinct regional characteristics and spiritual quality of Wuhan urban culture. As a kind of tourism scenic culture, it has its own unique cultural characteristics and presents a relatively independent cultural appearance. This relationship of both connection and distinction is the internal basis for the mutual complementarity and coordinated development. The two-way interaction between Donghu culture and Wuhan culture provides an infinitely broad prospect for the creation of Wuhan urban cultural system which is featured in the characteristics of the times, region and unique charm.
