Objective: To explore the value of imaging examinations of magnetic resonance imaging(MRI) and X-ray computed tomography(CT) in preoperative diagnosis and postoperative recovery of patients with hepatic diseases. Methods: A retrospective analysis of 60 patients with hepatic disease who underwent examinations of CT and MRI before and after surgery was performed. The diagnostic coincidence rate, imaging characteristics and postoperative recovery of two different imaging examination techniques, MRI and CT, were compared. Results: The detectable amount of intrahepatic and extrahepatic lesion of MRI examination was significantly better than that of CT examination(t=5.628, t=6.539, P<0.005). The positive rates of intrahepatic and extrahepatic lesion of MRI examination were significantly better than that of CT examination(x~2=8.015, x~2=6.652, P<0.010), respectively. The results of 60 patients post operative reexamination of MRI and CT indicated that the diagnostic accuracy rate of MRI examination(96.61%) was significantly higher than that of CT examination(67.80%)(x~2=16.741, P<0.05).Conclusion: Compared with CT examination, MRI examination has more obvious advantage for clinical patients with hepatic disease in preoperative diagnosis and postoperative evaluation.
