徐嘉瑞的“平民文学”思想研究

摘要
"平民文学"思想是徐嘉瑞文学思想的核心,萌生于"五四"时期的"平民文学"热潮中,与多位文学革命先驱的"平民文学"观相互影响。徐嘉瑞倾毕生之力建设"平民文学"思想,具体内涵随时代及其思想转变不断深化,形成了具有徐嘉瑞特色的"平民文学"思想,对该思想的理解需分为早、中、晚三个不同时期。当然,站在今天文学角度反思,徐嘉瑞的"平民文学"思想确有值得商榷之处,一方面过于强调文学实用性而忽略了其审美价值,另一方面未给予每个阶段的"平民文学"以清晰的界定。
"Civilian Literature" is the core idea of Xu Jiarui's literary thought, upsurging in May 4 th Movement. His thought of "Civilian Literature" had been influenced by civilian literature put forward by other literary pioneers. Xu Jiarui devoted his entire life to building up the idea of "Civilian Literature". With the development of society and his thought, the connotation of his "Civilian Literature" has changed a lot, forming a new "Civilian Literature" filled with Xu Jiarui's characteristics. People's understanding can be divided into three periods, namely, early period, middle period and later period. Certainly, from contemporary literary view, Xu Jiarui's "Civilian Literature" is debatable. On the one side, practicability of literature is emphasized while aesthetic value is ignored; on the other side, the "Civilian Literature" in different phases has not been clearly defined.
