Many TCM annotations of Jingui Yaolue thought that content of the Eleventh Pathogenic Syndromes and Treatment of Abdominal Mass with Wind-cold of Five Zang Viscera lost too much to understand, but it is not true. ZHANG Zhongjing discussed several key points on syndrome differentiation of yin and yang of five zang viscera in this chapter, it should make a further study of it to acquire regular problems so as to guide clinical practice. After studying the chapter, the paper concluded that mild common cold and direct cold attack are two kinds of diseases representing yin and yang. Mild common cold represents yang syndrome and direct cold attack represents yin syndrome. This paper made a detailed analysis of the connotation and concrete evidence of the wind-cold of five zang viscera chapter so as to enlighten the further study of the theory of traditional Chinese medicine.
