摘要
专门用途英语,即ESP(English for Specific Purposes),是指与某种特定职业、学科相关的英语,而物流专业英语属于专门用途英语的范畴。ESP存在着自身独有的语言特点、文体特征,因此物流专业英语作为ESP中的一种,也具有独特的语言风格,涉及物流专业内容和商务内容。如何把握这些特征,是翻译研究应关注的焦点之一。以物流专业英语为研究对象,分析物流专业英语的语言特征,探讨物流专业英语作为一种专门用途英语的翻译策略,从而为其他行业英语的翻译实践活动提供借鉴。
        Special purpose English, ESP(English for Specific Purposes), refers to English related to a particular profession and discipline, and the logistics professional English belongs to the category of specialized use English. ESP has its own unique language and stylistic features, so the logistics professional English, as one of the ESP, also has a unique language style, involving the content of logistics and business content. How to grasp these characteristics is one of the focuses of translation studies. This paper, taking the logistics professional English as the research object, analyzes the language characteristics of the logistics professional English, and probes into the logistics professional English as a special purpose English translation strategy, so as to provide reference for the practice of English translation in other industries.
