透视《天下》中的现代女性形象域外重建

摘要
英文期刊《天下》刊登的现代文学作品,有许多以女性为主角。通过分析这些文学作品可知,《天下》在整体上塑造的是一个苏醒中的现代女性形象。透视这一形象,可以知晓《天下》在向西方解释介绍中国文化的时候,没有刻意迎合西方的价值传统,全面西化,而是力图在沟通中西的基础上,建构积极正面的中国形象。这种文化自觉基础上的形象重建,为当下正在进行的中国文化对外传播提供了可资借鉴的经验。
T'ien Hsia Monthly,as an English journal,published many modern literatures with women as the heroines.Through a thorough analysis of the published literatures,the paper shows that a waking female image has been depicted in the journal.Seeing through the waking female image,it can be confirmed that T'ien Hsia Monthly's introduction of Chinese culture to the outside world goes beyond the catering for the western value system.It chooses to present a positive image of China through a combination of the East and the West.The image reconstruction was based on the cultural consciousness,which offers valuable experiences to the present communication to the western world.
