社会资本对农民合作社社员参与行为及绩效的影响

本研究构建了合作社社会资本的概念框架,将社会资本分为结构性和认知性两个方面,结构性社会资本主要指合作社外部的社会关系网络,认知性社会资本包括内部社员之间、社员与管理者之间的信任,以及社员对合作社集体目标和使命的理解。进而以嘉兴、台州两地的147家农民合作社为对象,检验了社会资本对社员参与程度及合作社绩效的影响,结果显示,社员参与技术培训的程度受到认知性社会资本的正向影响,合作社绩效受到结构性社会资本和认知性社会资本的正向影响。
This study formulates a framework defining social capital and measuring social capital in terms of structural dimension and cognitive dimension. The former refers to the external social networks of a cooperative,while the latter is the trust between members and between members and managers,as well as members' understanding of collective goals and missions of the cooperative. The effect of social capital on members' participation in collective activities and economic performance of farmer cooperatives is then examined,based on a database comprised of 147 farmer cooperatives from Zhejiang's Jiaxing and Taizhou. The results display a positive relationship between members' participating in technique trainings and the cognitive dimension of social capital,while performance of cooperatives is positively influenced by both structural and cognitive dimensions of social capital.
