摘要

新建本科高校的成立和发展促进了我国高等教育的发展。然而,新建本科高校英语专业学生的思辨能力普遍低于外语类大学生的平均水平。思辨能力是创新精神的根本依托,是提高国家核心竞争力的关键所在。文章主要阐释了在新建本科高校"基础英语"教学中采用隐喻教学培养学生的思辨能力,并通过语言输入和语言输出两个方面展开了隐喻教学研究的详细论述。
        The establishment and development of newly-built undergraduate colleges have opened a new chapter in Chinese higher education. However, the critical thinking of English majors in newly-built undergraduate colleges is generally lower than the average level of foreign language students. Critical thinking is fundamental support of innovation spirit and the critical point in improving the country's core competitiveness. Metaphor teaching in Basic English to cultivate students' critical thinking in newly-built undergraduate colleges is mainly introduced in this paper, and its details mainly focus on two aspects: language input and language output.
