An Application of MORPAS-Based Weight Evidence Method to Uranium Metallogentic Prognosis in Guyuan Basin

     Based on probing the relationship of geological, geophysical and geochemical information of Guyuan basin to uranium mineralization in Guyuan basin, quantification of each ore-control factors in the basin is carried out by means of MORPAS platform. And 16 evidence layers such as fracture buffer, sub- volcanic rock buffer and magnetic anomaly are extracted and constructed through spatial analysis of the MORPAS system. The research area has been divided into 9562 units with 1 km× 1 km for each unit. U- ranium potential is calculated by evidence weight model and 3 class targets are located thus put forward the prospecting direction for further exploration of uranium ore in the basin.
