     Combining with the advantages of good performance in estimation of DTOA and DOA joint location and high speed of convergence in iteration of Newton iterative method, we put forward a new algorithm of source lo- cation which based on the initial value determination of DTOA and DOA and accurate iterative of Newton itera- tive algorithm. Through the field experiment and simulation, we find that this algorithm can effectively improve the accuracy of source location. The analysis result of the influence factor of source location precision shows that measuring error of reducing the sensor base station site and arrival time difference of first break could effectively improve location precision, and location precision in the star-model station position is highest in the same condition.
