The Fanzhuang gold - silver - lead deposit is located in the northern margin of the Xiongershan metamorphic core complex, where detaching faults and NE - NNE faults developed well. These two sets of the faults exert a key control on the alteration - type Ag - Au ore bodies.The alteration exhibits a zoning characteristic which becomes weak from the zone center to the both sides. The tectonic characteristics and geophysical - geochemical data of the known structural alteration zones indicate that there is a great ore - search potential in this deposit district.
