Frequency-Related Factors Analysis in Frequency Domain Waveform Inversion

The wave equation depth migration methods are the key technologies for complex structure imaging, velocity modeling based on wave equation provides more accurate velocity model. In this paper, the authors analyze some frequency-related factors in waveform inversion that ensure the effectiveness. The authors introduce an implementation of multi-scale inversion that is widely used in the time domain inversion, analyze the relationship between the choice of frequency point of data, wavelet spectrum band width and the inversion result. The authors test these methods and factors with a designed mountain model, the conclusion provides a basis and reference for the effective frequency domain waveform inversion in seismic exploration.
