Research on Diversion-Infiltration of Flood and Storage of Underground Reservoir and Its Collaborative Effects in the Piedmont of the Qinling Mountains

In this paper, the situations for diversion-infiltration of flood in the piedmont of the Qinling Mountains were analyzed. The strategies for diversion-infiltration of flood in the alluvial fan of the Laohe River and their effects were also studied. The numerical method was adopted to study the joint effects of diversion-infiltration of flood and storage of underground reservoir. As a result of joint strategy with surface water reservoir, river diversion, diversion-infiltration of flood, and underground reservoir, the groundwater recharge can be increased by 0.45 × 108 m3 /a in average years while the flood peaks can be reduce by 90% in wet years.
