Application of the Weighted Logistic Regression Model on ArcGIS Platform to Prediction of Copper Deposits: A Case Study of the Bogda-Harlik Metauoginic Belt

     an lang="EN-US">an">This paper takes the Bogda-Harlik metalloginic belt as an example to delineate ore perspective areas. We adopt the evidence weight model on ArcGIS platform due to the limited research on known copper deposits and metallogenic regularities. We start from the analysis on regional geological background, combined with the data-driven method, and take faults, sedimentary facies and volcanic rock formations, intrusive rock lithology as evidence factors. And we treat the student contrasts an>an style="font-family: 宋体; mso-ascii-font-family: ’times new roman’; mso-hansi-font-family: ’times new roman’">(an>an lang="EN-US">an"> San>an style="font-family: 宋体; mso-ascii-font-family: ’times new roman’; mso-hansi-font-family: ’times new roman’">(an>an lang="EN-US">an">Can>an style="font-family: 宋体; mso-ascii-font-family: ’times new roman’; mso-hansi-font-family: ’times new roman’">)an>an"> an style="font-family: 宋体; mso-ascii-font-family: ’times new roman’; mso-hansi-font-family: ’times new roman’">)an>an lang="EN-US">an"> as measurable indicators of favorable factors to definite the most favorable factors. Then we use the weighted logistic regression model to calculate mineralization posterior probability and classify the degrees of favorable regions, and delineate seven pros- peering areas in the Bogda-Harlik metalloginic belt. Regional geochemical data are utilized to validate these prospecting areas. The results show that these areas have good coincidence with the known Cu anomalies. This study can serve the exploration and deployment work of copper ore districts in this belt, and provide a reference for using the weighted logistic regression model on ArcGIS platform.an>
