The wall rock of Haigou gold deposit is Early Yanshan acidic granitic rock-Haigou rock body, controlled by fracture structure, strike NE-nearly EW. The mineralization depth 1~ 3 km, the metallogenetic fluid originated from magma, metallogenic material derived from upper mantle, ore-forming temperature 119~420 ℃. The mineralize rock are quartz vein. The tectonic schistosity zone (sericite quartz phyllonite), schistosity diorite porphyrite veins, and the gold-quartz veins constitute the Haigou gold deposit, which formed the ore-forming, prospecting criteria. Although deposit undergone with much exploration, there are still better prospecting potential. Based on the metallogenic conditions and degree of geological studied, determined 5 prospecting areas.
