The underground resource exploitation may cause land surface collapse, which has becoming an important factor to restrict the sustainable development of the mining area. The general form of its display includes: collapse basin, collapse pit, ground fissures, landslide, and landslip etc. They make road polluted and compel road to change position, cause Residents and water system to change. In the course of multi target remote sensing investigation and monitoring of mine resource exploitation, this kind of geological hazard phenomenon is very common. The authors analyzed and studied the identification method of land collapse in remote sensing image based on the summarizing main types and characteristics of the land collapse.
