Conodonts in the Changxing Formation and the Dalong Formation at the Guanziba section, Wangcang, Guangyuan, northeastern Sichuan Province are systematically studied, with 21 species assigned to 2 genera (including 2 conformis species, 1 affinis species, 1 Clarkina sp.). Four conodont zones are recognized in ascending order as the Clarkina orientalis Zone, the C. wangi Zone, the C. changxingensis-C. deflecta Zone and C. meishanensis Zone. The conodont sequence at the Guanziba section has been accurately compared with the classical section at Meishan, Changxing,  Zhejiang Province.
