A one-dimensional model for analyzing the porous media's deformation during and after dissocia- tion of natural gas hydrate (NGH) was developed in which conductive-convective heat transfer,two-phase fluid flow, intrinsic kinetics of NGH dissociation and deformation of solid skeleton were all included. After the certification of the numerical model,a parameter sensitivity analysis was developed. Based on the analy- sis, main conclusions are as follows: the deformation rate and the final deformation both decrease with the increase of the outlet pressure;the increase of the absolute permeability or the environmental temperature leads to the increase of the deformation rate, but makes no difference to the final deformation.
