RONG>Characteristics and Accumulation Effects of Temperature-Pressure Fields in Changxing Formation, Eastern Sichuan Basin, China
详细信息
摘要

This paper studies the evolution characteristics of temperature-pressure fields not only with data analysis of systematically continuous temperature, well testing and fluid inclusion but also with the numerical simulating technique in the Upper Permian Changxing Formation of the eastern Sichuan Basin. It is found that paleo-geothermal gradients are relatively high in the Huanglongchang and Wubaiti structural belts and the maximum values appear from Early Triassic to Middle Jurassic. Since 200 Ma B.P., the pressure field evolution shows two processes of quick increase and slow reduction. Moreover, the strong overpressure appears in the middle-late Yanshanian tectonic stage and takes on a well coupling relationship with the evolution history of the temperature field. The formation and evolution processes of temperature-pressure fields advance the hydrocarbon generation and expulsion in the source rocks of Upper Permian, drive high-quality dolomite reservoirs formation, and control fluids flow mechanism and flow style, migration pathway and accumulation area in the petroliferous basin.
