In this paper, the authors describe such an anomalocaridid specimen from the purple reddish shale of the Mantou Formation (Luaspides huoshanensis Zone) at Zuojiawu, Fengrun district of Tangshan City, Hebei Province. The ventral spines are arranged alternately in length on successive podomeres, auxiliary spines not clearly visible. They are distally directed and inclined to the margin of the podomere at an angle of 100°~80°. At least one terminal spine is clearly visible. Apair of conical shaped dorsal spines armed on the reciprocal second podomere. The new specimen probably represents a new anomalocaridid form. This discovery adds new information on the distribution for anomalocaridids and provides new data regarding the Cambrian exceptional fauna near the margins of the North China Platform.
