Physicochemical characterization and in vivo evaluation of triamcinolone acetonide-loaded hydroxyapatite nanocomposites for treatment of rheumatoid arthritis
HAp nanocomposites were synthesized through a chemical precipitation method.

The physicochemical properties of the synthesized nanocomposites were examined.
•
Structural features of the nanocomposites were estimated using BET and BJH.
•
The prepared nanoformulation had lower cytotoxicity compared to the pure drug.
•
The nanocomposites showed significant anti-inflammatory effects in the rats.
