The objective is to suggest how to determine the appropriate activation threshold and the slat angle of the blind. Based on the Köppen-Geiger climate classification, the four regions were selected. DGI and lighting energy demand are elements for evaluating performance of the blinds. If we focused on the visual comfort factor, the slat angle of the blind is larger. If the lighting energy demand factor is more important, greater threshold irradiance is better.
