文摘
Carbohydrate platforms were designed for the treatment of dentine hypersensitivity. Platforms were composed of HEC or NaCMC, PVP and PC and strontium (St). Polymer interactions were observed, enhancing the physicochemical/mucoadhesive properties. St interacted with NaCMC and PC, modifying the resulting physicochemical properties. St containing NaCMC-based platforms exhibited potentially clinically advantageous properties.
