First systematically investigated SNDOR treating MTWW by full-length 16S rRNA sequencing. Proliferation of halophilic microbes stabilized biological performance along with elevated salinity. Autotrophic AOB and AOA together contributed to ammonium oxidation despite of high C/N. PND gradually took predominance along with elevated salinity.
