The genotoxic potential of two new metallic-insecticides was evaluated. Only one of them induced genotoxic alterations in Allium cepa. The genotoxicity can be related to one of the components of its formula. None of them was genotoxic to Tradescantia pallida. One of the metallic-insecticide tested is environmentally safer.
