The studied oleaginous species showed as potential alternative raw materials for biodiesel production. Biodiesel showed physico-chemical properties consistent with current standards. Thermal stability was estimated by thermogravimetric data. Activation energies of the thermal decomposition process were determined using the Ozawa method. Biodiesel presented good thermal stability and good combustion properties.
