Potencial of the bagasse ash is analyzed for the treatment of cooking oil. The ash has good properties and characteristics for this application. It was shown that the sugarcane bagasse ash decreases the acidity of cooking oil. The residual oil treated with bagasse ash can be used for energy purposes.
