Concerns about the fate of urban pollutants within the soil of infiltration devices. Experimental assessments of ten study sites with contrasting characteristics. Surface concentrations are spatially structured with respect to the inflow area. Contamination patterns bear the signature of non-uniform infiltration fluxes. These findings should be accounted for in SUDS design, maintenance, and modeling.
