A new material CsDyP2O7 was synthesized using high temperature flux method. CsDyP2O7 features a three-dimensional (3D) anionic framework of [DyP2O7]∞. CsDyP2O7 can be effectively excited by near-UV light of 310–410 nm. CsDyP2O7 exhibited white emission spectrum with CIE chromaticity coordinates of (0.2882, 0.3105).
