Proteomic investigation of the prefrontal cortex in the rat clomipramine model of depression
文摘
Chronic neonatal clomipramine treatment induces depression-like symptoms in rats. Altered levels of 32 proteins have been revealed in the prefrontal cortex of rats. The macrophage migration inhibitory factor (MIF) showed the largest alteration. MIF is predominantly expressed in astrocytes. Inflammation-associated mechanisms are suggested in this model.
