Efficient lossless multi-channel EEG compression based on channel clustering

This article proposes a new method for lossless compression of multi-channel EEG data.

The proposed method relies on reduction of both inter-channel and intra-channel redundancies.

In the first stage, a DPCM preprocessing technique was employed for removing intra-channel redundancies.

Channel clustering was used for inter-channel redundancy removing.

Finally, arithmetic coding was applied to obtain further compression.
