Australian snapper requires lower dietary protein level than that currently provided in commercial diets. Dietary Se requirement in snapper was met by natural Se levels in basal and commercial diets. Dietary selenium levels had linear positive relationship with selenium levels in tissues. The selenium threshold level in snapper could be affected by feed formulation.
