Modeling of near-field concentrated solar thermophotovoltaic system for the first time in the open literature. Near-field thermal radiation exchange between emitter and PV cell exceeds blackbody radiation limit. Achievable power densities as high as 60W/cm2 with solar to electrical conversion efficiency of 15.5%.
