High IgG1 showed a significant correlation with myocarditis in both experimental models. IgG1 could be a good marker to demonstrate myocarditis intensity in Chagas disease. Different parasite strains are able to induce similar infectivity in different hosts. Different experimental models may respond differently to Trypanosoma cruzi.
