Foliar nutrition resulted in better quality sapota fruits with higher levels of mineral elements and phytochemicals compared to Irrigated and Control samples. Foliar nutrition technique is effective, efficient, economical and easily adaptable by growers to enhance fruit quality of sapota under water limiting conditions. The metabolomics approach coupled with PCA is a valuable tool to identify the key factors determining fruit quality in sapota.
