The β transus temperature of the TiB/Ti-1100 composite was measured and discussed. Effects of various microstructure sizes on mechanical properties were measured. Effect of silicide precipitation on the mechanical properties was measured. Some models were suggested to evaluate the variation in mechanical properties.
