Graphene-like MoS2 nanosheets were exfoliated through intercalation-detonation. As-prepared samples have good crystallinity and layered graphene-like MoS2 structure. The exfoliation mechanism of shockwave and expansion theory is proposed. Simple processing, high efficiency of detonation show good application prospects.
