An electrochemical sensor for selective detection of dopamine in the presence of 10- fold excessive concentration of bio-interfering species was fabricated. The electrooxidation mechanism of dopamine was studied by several voltammetric techniques including cyclic voltammetry, differential pulse voltammetry, linear sweep voltammetry and chronoamperometry. The effect of pH was studied in detailed on dopamine oxidation.
