A PRRSV DNA vaccine candidate(pcDNA3.1-GPX1-LSynORF5) is constructed. GPX1 improves immune responses induced by pcDNA3.1-SynORF5 in mice and pigs. The prepared DNA vaccine provides partial protection against PRRSV challenge.
