Synthesis and characterization of Sr1−xLnxCoO3−δ, Ln=Y, Sm–Tm, 0.1x0.5

Different perovskite-rel ated ph ases h ave been found in an X-r ay powder diffr action (XRD) and tr ansmission electron microscopy study of the Sr1−xLnxCoO3−δ, Ln=Y, Sm&nd ash;Tm, 0.1≤x≤0.5 systems. For the compositions Sr 0.7Ho 0.3CoO 3−δ; Sr1−xEuxCoO3−δ, 0.3≤x≤0.4; Sr1−xGdxCoO3−δ, 0.3≤x≤0.5; Sr1−xTbxCoO3−δ, 0.3≤x≤0.4; Sr1−xDyxCoO3−δ, 0.2≤x≤0.3 the form ation of ph ases isostructur al with the recently discovered perovskite rel ated Sr 0.7Y 0.3CoO 2.62, a align=center border=0 SRC=/images/glyphs/BQ4.GIF>2×aper, c align=center border=0 SRC=/images/glyphs/BQ4.GIF>4×aper ( aper perovskite subcell) w as observed.
