Four novel D−A–π–A motif dye sensitizers of polymer have been synthesized. Metal complexes were used instead of organic group as auxiliary electron acceptors. Energy levels were adjusted by matching different donors and auxiliary acceptors. Relatively high power conversion efficiency of over 6% was obtained. They show good terminal stability with decompression temperatures higher than 300 °C.
