Hypothalamic OXT was increased following AS and CHS. AVP was increased following AS and CHeS. OXT antagonist prevented CHS-induced recovery of GE. AVP antagonist restored CHeS-induced delayed GE. OXT and AVP mediate chronic stress-induced gastric motor changes independently.
