A simple method for As speciation in urine using a low pressure column coupled to ICP-MS was acquired. Inorganic As and its metabolites MMA and DMA were separated from AB, AC and TMAO in less than 05 min. High sample throughput allows the application of the method in epidemiologic studies. Inorganic As in urine was related to wine consumption. A BMI greater than 25 kg/m2 was associated with lower concentrations of urinary MMA and inorganic As.
