In-through investigation on the suitability polymer in preparation of polymeric nanosorbents and membranes for hormone removal. A total number of 452 polymers were analyzed. Seven estrogens were considered: estradiol, estrone, testosterone, progesterone, estriol, mestranol, and ethinylestradiol. The domain of applicability of each polymers together with their removal capacity in terms of phase envelops.
