文摘

The initial spreading of a large (17 Mm3), concentrated nourishment was examined.

About 1.8 Mm3 of sediment is eroded from the nourishment in the first 18 months.

The blunt outline is found to deform quickly into a near Gaussian shape.

Profile adaptation is occurring on a timescale of one year.

Adjacent coastal sections are primarily fed during the energetic winter months.
