This research will fulfill the evidential analysis (EA) on Altman Z-score by the induction of the rough set theory. The analysis will induce evidence for Altman Z-score by constructing the variables’ structure, measuring the evidential coefficients of financial ratios, evaluating the companies’ performance, and identifying the distressed patterns. The result affirms the sophisticated knowledge of Altman in financial market and discloses the trend of Taiwan's solar energy industry in recent years.
