We confirm lignum regenerates from dormancy. We found lignum regeneration is influenced by increasing duration of dormancy. As lignum dormancy interval increased, lignum regeneration decreased. Lignum regeneration success varied across locations and years. Understanding the limits of dormancy supports arid floodplain management.
