K/Pg paleoenvironmental conditions are reconstructed in Apennine sections. Similar environmental conditions prior and after the K/Pg event are reported. A rapid reestablishment of paleoceanographic parameters occurred after the impact. Stable isotopes reveal coetaneous bioturbation and absence of vertical redistribution.
